Isopropanol is excellent for removing dirt, adhesive residue, and as a degreaser. It is also ideal for disinfecting surfaces and skin before injections. Isopropanol has a wide range of uses as a solvent for paints, varnishes, essential oils, and waxes. It is also used as a raw material in the cosmetics, chemical, and technical industries, as well as in the production of disinfectants. Other applications include mold removal (mixture: 70–80% isopropanol, the remainder distilled water) and cleaning vinyl records (mixture: approx. 35% isopropanol, the remainder distilled water). In the automotive sector, isopropanol can be used to clean paintwork (e.g., after polishing). The result is a completely grease-free surface, which is then suitable for applying paint protection products/sealants. It can be used diluted or undiluted. Apply the product to a soft cloth and wipe the paintwork. Isopropanol 99.9% is used in many areas: - Solvent for fats, resins, varnishes, and inks - Disinfectant and cleaning agent in industry and households that evaporates without leaving any residue - Solvent and thinner in cosmetic and pharmaceutical preparations - For disinfecting skin before injections and for cold compresses - Extraction and purification of natural products - Solvent for crystallizing and purifying organic substances - Defoaming agent - Additive to antifreeze in cooling systems or windshield washer fluids - Removes adhesive residue, label residue, and paint - For cleaning video and audio heads, optical lenses, and CCD sensors of digital SLR cameras - Degreases natural nails before applying gel and removes the dispersion film after curing - Ideal for cleaning and disinfecting work equipment For external use only! - Highly flammable (VbF:B)!
